Miller joined the broadcast in July of 2018. Her work regularly appears on the "CBS Evening News," "CBS This Morning" and "CBS Sunday Morning." She has also appeared as a correspondent on "48 Hours." She’s also earned a Salute to Excellence Award from NABJ and was voted Woman of the Year by the National Sports Foundation. In 2014, TV Week named Miller as one of the "12 to watch in TV news." Miller has interviewed global leaders, politicians, artists and celebrities, including President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai, renowned artist Peter Max, Beyonce, John Goodman, Tony Bennett, James Earl Jones, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J, Carlos Santana, Denzel Washington and violinist Yo-Yo Ma. Richard and Irene have been working together for the past 16 years and got involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon, nearly seven years ago. Irene finds great delight and it’s her pleasure to contribute with fundraising efforts and the development of the Holiday Gift Giving Dollar Sale which helps support the Club. Richard Gossett: Richard and Irene have been residents of Bronxville for 18 years. Richard has been in the fashion industry for 40 years and is the CEO of two major fashion companies. During the pandemic Richard launched Commander Health Supply which provides PPE to 121 countries through The World Bank. Richard joined the Board of Directors for The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon nearly seven years ago. His wife Irene embraced The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon with the same enthusiasm as he did. They continue to find new ways to support the Club financially through various entertaining events. × Lowes Moore Lifetime Achievement Award Lowes Moore is the former Executive Director/Development of the Mount Vernon Boys and Girls Club, the place which provided him guidance and direction in life. He has helped hundreds of kids enter college. A humble man from the housing projects of Mount Vernon, he is successful, and still giving back. Lowes is the author of From The Boys & Girls Club To NBA (Life On The Narrow), and his current works in progress are Lowes Moore Literacy Campaign. Lowes has been an inspirational speaker at various sites, which include NFL and NBA Pre-Game Chapels, corporations and businesses, churches, schools and community agencies.
